Leadership, Experience, Opportunity!
That’s what makes a Leo. Members of Leo Clubs embody the best qualities of the incredible Lions International organisation. Leos are devoted young people who realize the power of action! Leo Clubs are home to Lions International’s youngest members, whose insights and actions are invaluable to further the mission of service in our communities.
What are Leos?
Think of a Leo Club as the youth branch of Lions International. While Lions Clubs are typically made up of adults, Leo Clubs are specifically designed for young people (usually between the ages of 12 and 18) who want to give back to their local communities, learn leadership skills, and have fun while doing it.
Why choose Leos?
There are a lot of ways people can give back to their community — but being a Leo is much more than just service. Choosing the right Leo Club will help you grow as an individual and as a leader as you join a global family of young people making the world a better place.
Joining a Leo Club brings you into a world of opportunity — from developing crucial life skills and making positive changes in your community, to building lifelong connections with like-minded people. Be part of a global community of kindness!
What do Leos actually do?
Leos are a global network of young people who volunteer to improve their communities while gaining valuable life skills. Because they focus on local needs, their projects vary widely — ranging from food drives and tree planting to neighbourhood clean-ups and hosting activities or events at various places in their communities.
Are there any Membership Fees?
Leo Club membership is completely free for members, as the sponsoring Lions Club covers all the costs.
